The Coach-House at Zwartkoppies Hall

In 1895 Marks had a large stable and coach-house built. It could accommodate five carriages and fourteen horses, apart from housing storerooms. Marks had various vehicles for transport, ranging from ox-wagons to a formal coach known as a Landau and each vehicle had a special purpose.

The red brick building opposite the stable was called the "cow-house" and was completed in 1903. It served as the centre for the dairy activities.

The Cow-House
The two cottages were built to accommodate the farm manager and head dairyman. These are now let to private people.
