Where to shop:
Alcohol: It is not necessary to buy expensive 100% alcohol from the pharmacy.Commercial grade alcohol (98%) or surgical spirits will be suitable for preserving insects. Obtainable from a pharmacy or from your local museum.
Ethyl Acelate: This is a poisonous chemical and must be used with care. Try to obtain it form your local pharmacy. Commercial grade is satisfactory and less expensive.
Naphthalene and Vapona: Available from any big chain store. They are often used against fishmoths.
