Adventure Nights
Adventure nights can be tailored for any age group, and can cover any Natural History topic.
The program starts at 17h30, with a Science Magic Show. A light supper is then served. After supper there will be a slide show or natural history video on the chosen topic and workbooks are distributed. The group may then explore the display halls. Energy levels are restored with a midnight feast and a sound night’s sleep in one of the display halls. The next morning we provide breakfast, which is followed by a recap session on the previous night’s activities, finishing at 09h00. After this everybody is free to continue exploring the Museum on their own. Many groups like to use the day to visit the Zoo, the Cultural History Museum, thus optimizing the value of the expedition.
Please bring: pen or pencil, sleeping bag or blankets, a deep plate or bowl, spoon, mug, toothbrush, pajamas and hand towel. The food and workbooks are supplied by us.
The cost of the adventure night is R75.00 per person (a deposit must be paid a week in advance), which covers entrance to the Museum, meals, Science Magic Show and the program. When making a booking please specify the subject you would like us to highlight and the language of your preference.
