All bugs have 2 pairs of wings; the front ones are typically larger and thickened. The mouthparts, which form a long rostrum or "beak", pierce and suck, and many sap-sucking species are serious crop pests. Metamorphosis is incomplete. The order comprises 134 families and 82 000 species
